Four Points by Sheraton Hotel - Courtyard Mural  8997 sqft

... you worked very diligently on our project, and patiently assisted us in the coordination of our supporting structural steel, carpentry and electrical trades to create a finished product we are all very proud of. Of course, as a result of good planning and tight coordination between your forces and ours, your team was ready for the hotels Grand Opening, the fateful 9/11, 2001. It was with considerable regret that Fortis had to cancel the unveiling of your work that day. It was to be the highlight of the opening celebrations. Let me say once again how much we appreciate your remarkable effort in the creation of the Four Points Courtyard Mural in Halifax.

Four Points by Sheraton Hotel - Courtyard Mural  8997 sqft

... Just a note to let you know how pleased those of us on the design team are with the finished courtyard mural at the new Sheraton Hotel in Halifax. Having worked with you on this project from the initial conception to the finished product, this mural has transformed what was a challenging design problem into a visually pleasing and dramatic user friendly courtyard.

Sincerely,

Halifax Seed Company - Full Visible Exterior   4300 sqft

....in 1999, Halifax Seed lead a focus group to acquire feedback. One of the comments that we received was that our existing building was " institutional" and required a softer look. To accomplish this within the present location was a challenge. Lynda McConnell was brought in and given the mandate to create a softer overall look for the building. She did this while combining it with the heritage of Halifax Seed being the oldest operating seed company in Canada. Over the summer of 1999 Lynda created the wonderful pictorial gardens that we have today. Interestingly, it has come to our attention that these murals have become one of the tourist highlights in Halifax. We are absolutely thrilled with the results.
